Gyeongju is located in the southeastern part of Korea and 380 km away from Seoul. Although Gyeongju does not have its own airport, there are regional airports: Ulsan Airport (USN) and Gimhae Airport (PUS, also known as Busan Airport) in the vicinity of Gyeongju, about 1 hour away by limousine bus.
From abroad, via Incheon International Airport (ICN)
From abroad, most airlines make a flight to ICN, but most domestic flights settle in Gimpo Airport (GMP). You should take a limousine bus from ICN to GMP for connecting local flights to get to the regional airports.
You can get to Gyeongju from ICN -- by air via USN, or by bus.

- From ICN to Gyeongju Cross-Country Bus Terminal
After arriving at ICN, take a bus to Gyeongju. They run 4 times a day (08:00, 09:40, 19:30, 21:00, departing from Bus stop number 8B). The fare is 29,800 Won and it takes about 5 hours.
- From Gyeongju Cross-Country Bus Terminal to Gyeongju Hilton Hotel
It is recommended to take a taxi. It takes about 20 minutes, which is usually charged about 10,000 Won.
From abroad, via Gimhae International Airport (PUS)
There are direct flights to PUS from many Asian cities, especially from China and Japan.
- From PUS, there are regular bus services to Gyeongju only to Gyeongju Express Bus Terminal, not directly to the conference site. It runs 11 times a day; 08:35, 09:35, 10:35, 12:05, 13:05, 14:05, 15:35, 16:35, 17:35, 19:05 and 20:25, leaving platform no.(2) in the airport. The fare is 9,000 Won one way. It takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. From Gyeongju Express Bus Terminal to the venue, it is recommended to take a taxi. It takes about 20 minutes, which is usually charged about 10,000 Won.

Please take a taxi. The fare is 30,000-40,000 Won one way and it takes about 30 minutes.

For USN » GMP flight schedule, please visit here and make inquiry by selecting "Ulsan" for Departure and "Seoul" for Arrival and then clicking [Ok].
- From GMP to ICN
After arriving at GMP, take a limousine bus to ICN for connecting international flights. Please check with your airline about whether they can transfer your luggage to your connecting flight. If not, you will need to bring it with you to ICN. Limousine buses from GMP to ICN run frequently, leaving platform no.(10), (11) and (12). The fare is 6,000 Won and it takes about 1 hour.
